Terms of service for our electrical contracting services
1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
TRIDENT ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS LTD provides commercial and industrial electrical services including but not limited to installations, testing, maintenance, and emergency call-out services. All work is carried out by qualified, NAPIT-approved electricians in accordance with current regulations.
3. Quotations and Pricing
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices include:
- Labour and materials as specified
- Standard testing and certification
- Clean-up of work areas
Additional costs may apply for unforeseen complications, changes to scope, or additional materials not included in the original quotation.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms are as follows:
- Deposit may be required for large projects
- Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date
- Late payment charges may apply after 30 days
- We reserve the right to suspend work for non-payment
5. Warranty
We provide a 12-month warranty on all workmanship from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects in our installation work but does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, or manufacturer defects in supplied equipment.
6. Health and Safety
We are committed to maintaining the highest health and safety standards. Clients must provide safe working conditions and inform us of any known hazards. We reserve the right to suspend work if safety conditions are deemed inadequate.
7. Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of remedying defective work. We maintain appropriate public liability insurance. We are not liable for consequential losses, business interruption, or indirect damages except where prohibited by law.
8. Cancellation
Either party may cancel with reasonable notice. Cancellation charges may apply for work already commenced or materials ordered. Emergency call-out services may be subject to minimum charges.
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, material shortages, or government restrictions.
10. Compliance
All work is carried out in compliance with current electrical regulations, building standards, and local authority requirements. Clients are responsible for obtaining necessary permits where required.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to English law and the jurisdiction of English courts.
